Hydraulic End Stops at Both Ends

  • HCS & HRS (Hydraulic Compression Stop & Hydraulic Rebound Stop) are internal valving mechanisms that cushion hard impacts from compression and rebound at the top and bottom of maximum piston travel

Cerakote® Ceramic Finish

  • Our industry-exclusive premium Cerakote® ceramic finish – in exclusive SHOWA Gold – protects the steel-body against abrasion, corrosion, impact and exposure to prevent chipping, flaking and color loss
  • One of the most advanced protective coatings available in off-road suspension
  • A tough, non-porous ceramic barrier that resists abrasion, corrosion, impact and chemical exposure far beyond standard paint or plating

2.25" (57mm) Body

  • The 3mm-thick, steel tube shock body is built for extreme durability during sustained impacts and heavy side loads

18mm Piston Rod

  • Case-hardened steel rod delivers abrasion resistance, durability and longevity

Position Sensitive Damping

  • Manages damping performance throughout suspension travel

Advanced Dirt Defense

  • The Roost Shield and rod wiper keep dirt and debris out, while a redundant pressure seal keeps clean oil in — all working together to improve durability and extend performance life

Adjustable Spring Seat

  • Vehicle ride height and spring load are set by adjusting the spring seat in the ring grooves that run along the shock body

Permanently Bonded Rubber Bushings

  • Engineered and tuned specifically for each vehicle platform and application
  • Rubber is permanently bonded (not pressed) to the metal sleeve eliminating the maintenance issues commonly associated with polyurethane or metal bearing-style mounts

Advanced Sealing System

  • Equipped with internal/external garter springs bonded with NBR material
  • Provides redundant, long-lasting sealing protection

Forged and Welded Base Cap

  • Supported by high-strength cold-drawn loops and combined with heavy-duty structural components
